Wow!

Today on the aforementioned diet, along with the soup, I get to drink milk and eat bananas. I can't believe how sweet bananas taste after three days of soup, fruit, and vegetables. I am actually almost sickened by how sweet they are. I'm also not really having cravings for anything anymore. I'm hungry sometimes but never looking to eat something specific. Don't really want carbs or sugar or something salty. This diet rocks! Bananas are too sweet for me now, how crazy is that?

Making Soup

Starting tomorrow I'm going to do the Cabbage Soup Diet for a week. Now before people jump down my throat about fad diets and this being unhealthy for this reason or that I must remind you of a few things. Firstly, this is way more healthy than I currently eat. For instance until about 5pm today all I had to eat was licorice. So, while you may think that the week long plan is missing this or that, or unhealthy in some other way, it has got to be better then when I am left to my own devices. Secondly, it is just a week, after which I hope to go on Weight Watchers and monitor my food in a responsible lifestyle changing type way. I just wanted to do this first and here are the reasons why;
-I really love cabbage
-It will be nice to see a big change right away to motivate me to continue
-I hate cooking and this only requires me to do it once
-My mom has done it before and it does work
-I have exactly a week before I'm going to the cottage so it fits
-Planning out meals ahead of time is really hard for me

Losing Weight

Jerrica's cat, Cora, has been on a diet since she got her. It is working wonders as she is now almost down to normal cat size. She used to be so big we called her Jabba The Cat and she could barely clean herself. Compared to tiny little Binx she looks gigantic, Binx may have an advantage as black is slimming. I used to say that when Cora sits her body can't fit behind and it stuck out to one side, like 'a cat and a half', but now she can almost totally 'sit behind herself.'

Blew It On Day 6

I got sick of the soup and restrictions. I know everyone saw this coming. I went out for dinner to East Side Mario's with Kristin. I feel though that I ate moderately, and fairly healthy. I still have some soup left which I will continue to eat and most likely make again in a couple weeks. It is good to have a healthy staple like that around. Ami thinks it has helped a bit, says my skin is glowing. I don't know if I feel any thinner, but I do feel better knowing that I'm eating more vegetables and fruit now, instead of all carbs. I'm thinking I will say The Soup Diet was a success.

Intense Heat

Last night I went and did 90mins of yoga in a hot room with Alex and The Popeye Boys. It was insane, afterwards every inch of me was covered in sweat, every part of my tanktop and yoga pants were soaked. I felt so refreshed afterwards though, almost like a detox. It was at Rama Lotus Yoga Centre downtown and I would like to start going there to do classes in the hot room regularly. A hot room which is kept between 38 to 41 degrees Celsius. Literally I was doing a low impact workout in a sauna for an hour and a half, crazyness.
