I don't know why but I was thinking about the show Dawson's Creek. It started when I was in Grade 8 and continued all through my years in high school, I watched it off and on. Some seasons my friends and I would gather each Friday to watch every episode, other years I would just catch it a few times. What I realise now is that not a lot happened on that show. Relationships between the characters came and went, love was sometimes unrequited, a student slept with a teacher, parents had affairs, and as far as I can remember that was pretty much it. Maybe there was some party episodes that talked about drugs and the dangers of drinking and driving but on a whole it was a fairly mellow show. In contrast to the more recent Gossip Girl and The OC which are crazy teen dramas filled with action. I liked Dawson's Creek though and I wonder if I watched it now what I would think.

The Creek
