The Very Short List

This is an e-mail thing, which I don't plan on signing up for but the site itself is cool to visit. Very Short List is a collection of distinct, free, daily e-mails that each recommend one must–see thing a day. (All of their daily e-mails are archived.) The website is in a blog-like formate and points to excellent new (and sometimes vintage) entertainment and media that haven’t been too hyped. Each weekday, they recommend a single gem from the vast mass of films, TV shows, books, websites, music, and more. The focus is on products that deserve attention but haven’t already been subject to giant media pile-ons.
